We offer a range of new boats, engines and marine services from our marina on the River Medway in Kent.

There is a strong social dimension to all club activities but the focus is always on the sailing. We are a recognised RYA dinghy sailing instruction centre.  Members have many dinghies on site and enjoy ‘small boat’ sailing throughout the year, but especially in the winter period when the ‘big boats’ are out of the water, and there is a thriving club race series. Yachts of all types and sizes are stored on pads and hard standing in the boat park which has distributed water, electricity and lighting.

Hadleigh Park is offering exclusive adults only stand up paddleboarding (SUP) sessions weekly throughout the summer. Kayak hire on the Hadleigh Park Reservoir is one of the parks most popular activities. Kayaking is suitable for age 6 and above. All equipment is supplied and a buoyancy aid must be worn at all times.Sailing is an active adventurous sport and our Funboats are ideal boat for beginners who want to give it a go. You will learn the basics of sailing, including how to launch and recover a boat safely, how to set up your boat and how to sail to a point and return.

We offer tidal moorings and secure storage ashore. Our highly competitive rates and friendly atmosphere has made us very popular for winter storage.

We are a RYA registered training school offering powerboat and jet ski courses on tidal waters. We are also ICC accredited. We offer powerboat level 1-2 - Intermediate & Advanced. Jet ski (PWC). VHF radio. 1st aid.

Canvey Island is located at the Southern end of the county of Essex. It is situated on the River Thames between Southend and Basildon. Canvey is around 35 miles east of London and is around 5 miles in length, by about 3 miles wide.

The Yacht Club was founded in 1936, our aim is to encourage, promote and facilitate amateur yachting, with membership open to all. As a members' organisation, we are entirely supported by members' subscriptions and their voluntary assistance which helps keep fees low.

Two brothers Alfie and Burt Lawson founded the Leigh Motor Boat Club in 1962.

Welcome to 3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scout Group. Founded in 1931, 3rd Chalkwell Bay operates from our purpose built headquarters in the Old Town of Leigh on Sea in Essex, where we run a huge array activities and training for boys and girls ages 6 to 25 and beyond. We are recognised by the Royal Navy as one of the top 100 Sea Scout Groups in the country.
