Iron Wharf is essentially a ‘do it yourself’ boatyard where boat owners can undertake all kinds of boat building projects, large and small.

Our focus is on club racing and leisure sailing, of dinghies and catamarans, in a relaxed atmosphere suitable for single and family members.

We teach people how to scuba dive and offer recognised courses from beginner programmes right through to professional levels.

Whitstable Yacht Club is one of the oldest and largest sailing clubs in England. The Club is situated on the north coast of Kent where the Thames Estuary meets the North Sea.

Sailing depends on weather and wind conditions and is at the Skipper's discretion, therefore, some or even all of the boat trip may be under the power of a diesel engine.
